Is Asif Ali Zardari the worst president of Pakistan? Is he good enough to handle the pressure of the Pakistani people, the lawyer's community and from the media as well? This is the question people are asking after just three months of his tenure.

Asif Ali Zardari has won 481 votes, far more than the 352 votes that would have guaranteed him victory. He had served as a member of the National Assembly and federal minister for environment during the second term of his wife’s premiership.

Zardari is a beneficiary of the NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) issued by the former president of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf. Chief beneficiaries of this ordinance include Asif Ali Zardari, Interior minister Rehman Malik with other PPP leaders and MQM workers and leaders.
The current president, Asif Ali Zardari is a controversial person and there are so many controversies related to him. He was subsequently arrested on murder charges for his brother-in-law Murtaza Bhutto in 1996. He was charged with conspiracy in the 1996 killing of a judge and his son. These charges coincided with his plans to launch massive protests in the country.

Zardari was accused of using illicit funds to acquire the Surrey Mahal and in August 2004, Zardari acknowledged owning a £4.35 million estate in Surrey, England. He was under criminal investigation in Switzerland over receipts of kickbacks from two Swiss-based companies. He was also accused of money-laundering activities on private banking. We all know what happened when he Met with Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin.

He signed four accords with PML-N supreme leader Nawaz Sharif on restoration of deposed judges but backtracked from all of them, saying that the political agreements were not word of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.

How long he can handle the pressure from political parties, media and from the people of Pakistan. We'll see that how long the Americans can support him?
